Privacy Policy

Aria is a treatment-planning platform for dental professionals, operated by DentAI SA, a Swiss company. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Aria application and website. If you have any question, write to us at contact@ariadental.io.

Practice data. When a dental practice creates an account, we process the practitioner’s name and email, the practice name, settings, and billing information. For this data, Aria is the data controller.

Patient data entered by the practice. Treatment plans, sequences, quotes, and any patient details (such as a name or contact used to share a plan) are entered by the practice, for the practice. For this data, the practice is the data controller and Aria acts as a processor on the practice’s instructions. We use it only to provide the service to that practice, and never for anything else.

• We do not sell data, to anyone, ever.
• We do not use it for advertising.
• We do not use your patients’ data to train general-purpose AI models, and our AI providers are bound by terms that prohibit them from training their models on it.

When you generate a sequence or a quote, the treatment-plan text you entered is sent to our AI providers to produce the result, together with the clinical reference material needed for the task. These providers process the data solely to return the result to you. Every AI recommendation shown in Aria keeps the basis it was built on (references, reasoning), so your practice can always trace it.

You can delete patients, treatment plans, and sequences at any time from the application, and deletion is effective in the product immediately. You can also ask us to delete your entire account and everything attached to it by writing to contact@ariadental.io: we complete account deletion within 30 days, except for the minimal records we are legally required to keep (such as invoices).

When a practice shares a plan with a patient, access is protected by a one-time code sent to the contact details the practice provided. Patients see only their own plan, and the practice can revoke access at any time.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is segregated per practice, and the service is hosted with established cloud infrastructure providers. Team members of a practice only see that practice’s data, according to the roles the practice configures.

Aria uses only the cookies required to operate: keeping you signed in and remembering your language. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Parts of Aria are offered in beta (currently the US edition). Features evolve quickly during a beta, but the commitments on this page do not: they apply in full to beta accounts. If a change to this policy ever materially affects you, we will notify you in the application before it takes effect.

Depending on where you are, data-protection law (including the Swiss FADP, the EU GDPR, and US state privacy laws) gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability over your personal data. Write to contact@ariadental.io and we will honor them. Patients should address requests about their clinical data to their dental practice, which controls it; we assist the practice in fulfilling them.
