The common reflex in a practice is one login everybody uses. It works fine until you need to know who changed a plan, or to stop an expensive action from being triggered by mistake.
One account for the practice, one profile per person
The practice owns the account, and every team member has their own profile inside it. You pick your profile when you arrive, and your actions are attached to you rather than to a collective identity.
Permissions follow the role
Generating sequences is reserved for practitioners: the owner, the dentists and the administrators. Assistants and front desk manage patients and prepare the work, without being able to trigger a generation.
This is not about trust, it is about responsibility. A sequence is a proposed treatment plan: it should be requested and owned by someone able to judge it clinically.
What you pay for, and what you do not
Billing follows practitioners, not profiles. You pay one seat per dentist who generates plans. Assistants and front desk are free and unlimited: charging for the people who keep the practice running would only discourage you from including them.
In practice that means there is no reason to share a profile. Add everyone.
