Writing a treatment plan

Everything starts on the home screen, in a single text area. No form, no required field, no order to respect: write the case as it comes to you.

Tooth notation

Write in your market notation. A Swiss practice writes FDI, a US practice writes Universal. Aria reads and displays your practice notation; internally teeth are always stored in one reference system, which removes any ambiguity on conversion.

Attaching a patient

The picker under the text area searches your patients. If the patient does not exist yet, simply type their name: Aria creates them on the fly, splitting first and last name. You can also attach the patient later, from the sequence Patient tab.

Dictating

The mic button dictates straight into the text area, with dental vocabulary and your own abbreviations. The Command + Shift + M shortcut dictates into any text field in the app.

Your original dictation is kept verbatim. Even after clarification and regeneration, what you actually said remains available.

Sending

The blue button, or Command + Enter. If clarification is on for your practice, the card turns into a conversation; otherwise the plan goes straight to generation. If something fails, the text you typed is never lost.
