Voice dictation

Dictation is available anywhere you write: the home text area, clarification, the sequence chat, the command bar, and appointment notes.

Two ways to dictate

• The mic button next to the field.
• The Command + Shift + M shortcut, which dictates into whichever field is focused, anywhere in the app. Escape stops it.

Text appears as you speak, then settles. A small indicator shows the state: listening, finalizing, or in error.

Vocabulary

Recognition is tuned toward dental vocabulary, and extended with your practice own abbreviations, which you define in settings.

When an abbreviation is expanded into a procedure name, Aria shows you rather than doing it silently. An invisible substitution inside clinical text would be an error waiting to happen.

What is excluded

The global shortcut does not fire in password fields, nor in number or file fields. Dictation stays for free text.
