Pricing

Fees per hour

The indicator, what exactly it measures, and how to set it up.

At the top of the sequence, a figure gives the plan fees per hour, with an arrow placing it against your target.

Fees, not revenue

The indicator uses fees, not the quote total. A quote loaded with materials and laboratory inflates revenue per hour while saying nothing about chair productivity. What you see is therefore what the clinical time actually earns.

The time used is the sum of the appointment durations in the sequence. Prices never appear on the cards: the quote stays the single pricing engine.

Setting your target

The target is set in Settings, Fees tab, practice section. Two ways to write it: a target value with a tolerance percentage, or an explicit range. The first time you are asked is during signup, where you pick a bracket.

With no target set, no indicator is shown. Aria would rather display nothing than compare you to a threshold that is not yours.

Where the figure appears

  • In the sequence top bar, live while you edit.
  • On the summary card in the 3D view.
  • In the plans list, aggregated across the practice.

On the patient page and in Present mode, amounts are hidden by default.

Practice costs

Separately, in Settings under practice, you can enter your hourly overhead and your number of chairs. Another section decides which plan statuses count toward realized revenue, so the practice totals reflect your definition rather than ours.
